2006 National SE-R Convention
Just as the convention had gone from CA, to TX, to the Atlantic coast in ‘99, ‘00, and ‘01, history was repeating itself once again. Following the ‘04 convention in CA, ‘05 in TX, the ‘06 convention once again returned to the east. This time to be based near New York City, NY. Once again, the convention started with a Friday track event on May 5th, 2006 at Pocono Raceway. The track event was followed by a “free day” on Saturday to explore New York City. Sunday once again followed with the traditional car show and picnic. Although nobody recapped the event in a single writing, tons of pictures were taken over the weekend.
