2009 National SR20 Convention
In 2009, Joe Schintzius had held his word. He had pushed hard to bring attendance back up to where it once was, and with the help of sponsorships from both NICOclub as well as Calumsult, along with numerous other sponsors, the convention had been revived. On March 27th, the convention kicked off in Savannah, GA with a track day at Roebling Road Raceway. The tradition followed by a Saturday “free day” and Sunday picnic and car show. It was clear that Joe had resurrected the convention that had almost completely vanished the previous year.
